GANGWAY FEATURE// no tip slip

We have designed our gangway to the highest safety standards. One unique example is our tip force measurement system. Once connected to the offshore structure it is used to measure the loads on the gangway tip.

This information is used in the control system to reduce the loads on the tip, which ensures that the tip will remain in position without slipping, for example when an undetectable DP drift occurs. Vice versa it detects an over push and therefore will reduce the load on the offshore structure.

We have two systems available this summer.
