Barge Master contracts MARIN for model testing

Barge Master has signed a contract with MARIN maritime research institute in Wageningen, the Netherlands, for conducting a number of scale model tests in their basins.

A 1:20 scale model of the Barge Master will be tested in combination with a mooring pattern, flat top barge and model crawler crane in a wide variety of sea-conditions. The tests will take place in the beginning of 2011.
